Established in 2009 by sisters Rebecca and Madiana Margao, Red Sprinkle is a boutique consulting firm that caters to start-up and established businesses in the beauty and fashion industries. From working with clients on product sponsorships, visual design, business development and connections, visual merchandising, as well as strategic planning, the sisters allow businesses to focus on what they’re truly good at: their business. Past and current clients include Universal Gear, Hudson NYC, Marriott Hotel, Nellie’s Sports Bar, Lux Studios, Seven and Company, and CruxNY, to name a few.
Their love of connecting and working with individuals led to the launch of Red Sprinkle Events, where they host networking events, pop-up beauty lounges, launch parties, and more for fashion professionals (and enthusiasts) in the Washington, DC area.
Though the sisters enjoy focusing on the needs or their clients, they also make time for their philanthropic efforts. In 2012 the DC Youth Fashion Alliance was founded, which introduces teens to the fashion industry through a comprehensive program that includes fashion styling, hairdressing, marketing/PR and more. Currently, the program has locations in Washington, DC, Rockville, MD, Silver Spring, MD, Gaithersburg, MD, and White Oak, MD. Each summer they teach a nonprofit program to benefit disadvantaged teens at the Mary’s Center in Washington, DC.
The sisters currently live as neighbors (two buildings away from one another!) in Washington, DC, where they enjoy movies, social gatherings, and all things fashion.
